Los Angeles Clippers rookie Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will become the latest Canadian to take part in the Rising Stars Challenge at All-Star Weekend in Charlotte next month.

The rookie point guard out of the University of Kentucky by way of Canada was announced to the roster of Team World on Tuesday. The 6’6 Hamilton, Ontario native has put together a pretty impressive rookie campaign, in putting up nearly 10 points a game to go along with very healthy averages of nearly 3 rebounds and 3 assists a night.
