Jacksonville- Nick Foles and his wife Tori Foles is going through a lot in their private lives and they shared a personal message about what they have gone through.
Tori was excited when she found out that she was expecting again, but the joy of pregnancy turned into a nightmare when Tori found out she had a miscarriage. The Foles’ family has always been rooted in their faith through the good and bad times and Nick used the social media platform to encourage others while going through trials in their life that they can not control. “2 Cor 12:9.” “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
Tori wrote a long statement on her social media expressing the gratitude of the doctors who took care of her, as well as the many prayers that were sent her way. “To fully labor and deliver and even see our baby boy was a pretty devastating process. Come to find that I had contracted an infection of pneumonia in the blood. The emotions go back and forth from immense and overwhelming sadness, confusion and anger to a firm belief that God has this fully in his hands and will use this for good. We cannot always understand or explain, but we know that is true.”
”We’ve endured some unique challenges as a couple so far, but never quite knew what something like this felt like and now we do. We have so much compassion and sensitivity to those who have gone through a miscarriage at any point and in any circumstance. We know they all happen very differently.“We are finally home from the hospital and recovering physically from the infection with antibiotics (already much better) as well as emotionally from this traumatic loss. This will take time.”
Tori’s miscarriage is a reminder to America that 10-15 in 100 pregnancies have ended in miscarriages.
