Exclusive: Ice Cube reacts to John Singleton’s passing

The 2019 BIG3 draft was held in Las Vegas on Wednesday night, at the Luxor hotel and casino. Ice Cube’s three-on-three league is entering its third season, which will tip-off on (June 22, 2019).

Ice Cube gave Vegas Sports Daily the exclusive on John Singleton’s death.

Singleton was an American film director, screenwriter, and producer. He was best known for directing Boyz n the Hood, for which he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Director, becoming, at age 24, the first African American and youngest person to have ever been nominated for that award.

John Singleton gave Ice Cube his first shot in the film industry starring in Boyz n the Hood.
