Game Preview: Dallas Cowboys at Oakland Raiders

VEGAS

Two teams going in different directions will hook up for Week 15’s Sunday Night Football game with the Cowboys and Raiders getting it on in Oakland. Fresh off two of their best performances of the season where they outscored their opponents by a combined 44 points, the Cowboys will look to take advantage of a Raiders squad that’s coming off a pathetic effort vs the Chiefs.

The Raiders were only able to muster 15 garbage-time points in that game vs Kansas City which should be a concern for Raiders Nation when you consider the Chiefs were lit up for 38 points vs the Jets the week before. Oakland is averaging just 20.3 points per game, down five points from last season. The Cowboys, meanwhile, appear to have put their injury issues behind them after torching the Redskins and Giants.

Cowboys Win Big

An important factor that bettors should keep in mind is that when the Cowboys win, they win big! Each of their seven wins this season have come by 11 points or moreRai. The Raiders, meanwhile, have already been on the receiving end of five double-digit losses. Considering all these factors, the Cowboys at -3 looks incredibly appealing.

With the total hovering in the 46-point range, bettors will be interested to know that only one of the Cowboys’ last six games has topped that total, while the Raiders have gone UNDER in four consecutive games.
