Golden Knights call Daniel Carr up from Chicago

VEGAS (November 22, 2018) –Vegas Golden Knights General Manager George McPhee announced today, November 22, the following roster transactions: the team has recalled forward Daniel Carr from the American Hockey League’s Chicago Wolves and has assigned forward Tomas Hyka to the Wolves.

Carr has appeared in 16 games for the Wolves this season and leads the AHL with 22 points (9 G, 13 A) and has not taken a penalty. He also has a league-high six power play goals. Last season with the Montreal Canadiens, Carr appeared in 38 games and recorded 16 points (6 G, 10 A) to go with eight penalty minutes. He was signed by the Golden Knights on July 1, 2018.

Hyka has appeared in 17 games for the Golden Knights this season and has recorded four points (1 G, 3 A) to go with two penalty minutes. This season with the Wolves, Hyka appeared in two games and has recorded three assists to go with two penalty minutes. During the 2017-18 season with the Wolves, he recorded 48 points (15 G, 33 A) in 50 games. Hyka was signed by the Golden Knights on June 1, 2017.
