Jisu Park and Dearica Hamby Win Overseas Championships

Richard Brian

Big honors will follow two of Las Vegas Aces  forwards on their way back to the states. JiSu Park and Dearica Hamby leave their respective leagues as champions. JiSu played in her home country of South Korea with the KB Stars. Hamby played in Italy for Virtus Eirene Ragusa. Both performed at an all-star level all season.

JiSu averaged a near double-double as the starting center for her team.  As a major cog in a regular season championship team Park and her KB Stars teammates look to be favorites as they head into the postseason.

Hamby has been dominant for her Italian team all season averaging 19 points, 10 rebounds, and nearly a block a game. She not only walks away a regular season champion but a regular season MVP. Let’s see if she will take her production to a new level as postseason play.
