Joe Haden Headed To Pittsburgh

Just moments after the Cleveland Browns released all-pro cornerback Joe Haden, Mike Tomlin and staff had the idea they’d poach him away from the division rivals. With cornerback uncertainty surrounding the opposite side of Artie Burns, Pittsburgh had the option of starting struggling Ross Cockrell or free agent journeyman Coty Sensabaugh. Well, now that Joe Haden decided to sign with the Steelers, the answer to that question is now considered rhetorical, assuming Haden returns to his old form. Haden signs a $27 million contract for 3 years, alone making $7 million the first year; not bad for an all pro caliber player. Pittsburgh continues to search the market to add to their stable of powerhouse football, and indeed are looking to make a huge leap to dominate the NFL as they have their minds set to one goal, winning the Super Bowl. Pittsburgh is in search for their 7th Lombardi, or so Steelers Nation says it, “Stairway to Seven!”

Now looking ahead to Week 1 of the NFL Season, Pittsburgh presumable depth chart seems to be as followed:

Offense

POS Player
QB Ben Roethlisberger
RB Le’Veon Bell
FB Roosevelt Nix

WR Martavis Bryant

LG Ramon Foster
C Maurkice Pouncey

RT Marcus Gilbert

Defense

NT Javon Hargrave
RE Stephon Tuitt

ILB Ryan Shazier
ILB Vince Williams
ROLB T.J. Watt
