Holly of Holly Football:

Houston Texans over Miami Dolphins.

By week 8, we usually have a feel about a team, except the Dolphins and Texans. Two below par, “accidentally won four games” teams. There are no actual stats worth sharing, I am basing my picks on, which defense, can I rely on at the end of the day.
Pick: Houston Texans
Washington Redskins over New York Giants.
Pick: Washington Redskins
Baltimore Ravens over Carolina Panthers.
Pick: Baltimore Ravens

Straight Up Picks

Jeanna Thomas of Falcoholics:
Pittsburgh Steelers over Cleveland Browns Browns.
The Browns have already doubled up their win total from the previous two seasons with two wins in 2018. But don’t expect them to add a third against this particular division foe.
Pick: Pittsburgh Steelers
New England Patriots over Buffalo Bills.
It doesn’t matter if seasoned veteran Derek Anderson is starting over the abysmal Nathan Peterman. The Bills are not going to beat the Patriots.
Pick: New England Patriots
Kansas City Chiefs over Denver Broncos.
The Chiefs defense isn’t as stout as it’s been in years past, but Patrick Mahomes and his offensive weapons will be able to get it done at home against Denver.
Pick: Kansas City Chiefs

Pick of the Week

Kasey Hudson of Vegas Sports Daily/FNN:

Philadelphia Eagles over Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Eagles have more consistency on both sides of the ball.

Pick: Philadelphia Eagles

Los Angeles Rams over Green Bay Packers.

The Rams offense can outplay the packers defense.

Pick: Los Angeles Rams

Minnesota Vikings over New Orleans Saints.

Pick: Minnesota Vikings

Vikings win by 3-6 pts. They have a few more healthy offensive weapons this year versus the Saints. Creating more versatility.

Pick: Minnesota Vikings.
