Claressa Shields Sees A Switch From The Ring To Octagon in Her Future

Claressa Shields, Boxing, Las Vegas, MMA, UFC,

“I’m the baddest chick in boxing. Nobodies calling me out.” -Claressa Shields

Claressa Shields is still seeking the respect you would think a two-time Olympic Gold Medalist has already earned. She isn’t quite the household name as some of her counterparts like Amanda Nunes in UFC, and even Kayla Harrison of the PFL. Perhaps a switch from the ring to the Octagon will yield the payday she’s seeking.”I’m the badest chick in boxing, man. Nobody’s calling me out. I’m doing all the calling out.”

Shields is over trying to impress any of her competitors. “None of those girls box better than me. So, if I gotta learn some wrestling and some jujitsu to kick they ass, I’m willing to do that.” The Flint native is ready and willing to change the combat game.

In town for the mega Canelo Alvarez vs Sergey Kovalev light heavyweight fight. It’s quite possible Shields will make a few power moves while in Las Vegas.
