In 1998, Kenny Lattimore knew he sent Michael Jordan an advance copy of his new album, From the Soul of Man, but he had no idea how much of an impact the new release would have on “His Airness.”
Flash forward to 2020, with the airing of ‘The Last Dance’, a documentary about the last season of the Chicago Bulls dynasty that Jordan fronted, and Lattimore found out, along with the rest of the world, how much it meant to the greatest of all time.

Just a few hours before tipoff of the 1998 NBA championship series against the Utah Jazz, Jordan was captured getting hyped to Lattimore’s “Days Like This” track. The moment quickly caught on as a popular internet meme.
Jordan can be seen, jamming out on the Bulls team bus, but this time, different music is played over the video to incredibly funny results:

Even the Twitter handle @JordanJamming was created within a short time after the clip was first aired, amassing more than 50-thousand followers.
Lattimore joined the Vegas Sports Daily crew to talk about the experience, what a special moment it was for him, nearly getting the Michael Jordan cologne ad deal back in the 90s, his new marriage to Faith Jenkins, writing the new Divorce Court theme music and more.
