Help of Southern Nevada held their 29th annual Golfer’s Roundup Event today at Cascata Golf in Boulder City. Cascata is a Public Resort Golf Course tucked away in the Mountains of Boulder City. In order to visit the course you must have a Tee Time as they do not accept walk-ins. This years turnout was 1 Foursome away from capacity. I had the pleasure of riding along to capture some images of some of the participants and to see 1st hand just how breathtaking this course is.
As I ventured around the course I heard about a 150 Yard Putt that didn’t count. I saw some laughter, some celebration after a great shot and even saw a couple pulled shots with no wind to blame. From all accounts it appeared as though everyone at the event was thoroughly enjoying themselves and each foursome had the upmost respect for their caddies. Cascata has some very knowledgeable Caddies that work at the course full time. I witnessed the Caddie for the Heavy Hitting Foursome of Ryan Reaves (Vegas Golden Knights), Erik Haula (Vegas Golden Knights), Kenny Lee (Owner of Lee’s Liquor Store) and Tommie Battaglia (of Gaetano Brand Suits) explain to Ryan Reaves just how the Green would break/make the ball turn. Ryan then took his coaching as seriously as he would Gerard Gallant as he calmly putted the ball along the green.
