Flint-Actor and pop artist Jaden Smith and his foundation Just Goods company teamed up with First Trinity Missionary Baptist Church to help out Flint by deploying a mobile water filtration system known as “The Water Box.” It will reduce lead and other potential contaminants.
The church has distributed over 5 million bottles of water to residents, but bottled water donations are on the decline.
The water crisis in Flint started in 2014 and has increased a state of emergency for anyone that attempts to drink or use the water. Many celebrities, as well as social media influencers, have donated water and other items that the residents can use to help the residents out.
