Los Angeles- Former Lakers’ head coach Luke Walton is in deep trouble for an alleged sexual assault on a female reporter when he was the head coach for the Golden State Warriors.
Kelli Tennant is the reporter that was involved in the incident and she told TMZ in an exclusive interview what Walton did to her. “Tennant said Walton met her in the lobby and invited her back to his room. After discussing the book, Tennant said Walton suddenly pinned her to the bed, and forcibly kissed her. She said she yelled “Stop!” but Walton used his full body weight to keep her on the bed, where he groped her and forcibly kissed her. She said he laughed as she asked him to stop.
Tennant said Walton finally relented and she started to leave the room when he grabbed her again and kissed her ears and neck. She said he finally stopped, laughed and said “Good to see you” before she left the room.”
Allegedly Walton stalked and harassed her before she filed the lawsuit.
The Lakers’ and Golden State organization said this is the first time that they heard about the incident and did not comment on the matter. The Sacramento Kings said that they will be doing a full investigation on this incident.
Stay tuned for more updates about this on-going investigation.
