Meet the artist behind the NFL’s booming custom artwork, Not Your Muse

The NFL is known for fining players for breaking their strict uniform guidelines, but, uniformity goes out the window with ‘Not Your Muse.’

She is one of New York’s rising stars in the sports and entertainment world.

Her artwork is mind-blowing and some players get their cleats designed from this talented artist.

“Not Your Muse” is an abstract visual artist with a distinct painting style. She is a member of “Athletes for Art” which a brand committed to promoting artists and professional athletes. Art and sports are industries that have tremendous influence on society.

They are rarely coupled together as complimentary brands of influence because they are seldom linked or associated with each other. However, a few professional athlete are artist, and many are art collectors. Through artistic expression, “Athletes for Art” is able to foster relationships, inspire creativity, offer perspective, and provides advantageous promotional and marketing opportunism.

 

Currently, “Athletes for Art” has an exhibit showing at Art Basel in Miami. They host and contribute to the production of exclusive sporting events such as NFL games, NBA All Star Week, and NBA Finals. Off the field, they support events such as the NBA 2K19 video game launch, Rashad Jennings book release of “The if in Life,” and a multitude events that support charities founded by professional athletes.

Guests include: Odell Beckham (Cleveland Browns), Emmanuel Sanders, (Denver Broncos), Desmond Mason, (NBA 2000-09 ) NBA Dunk Champ), Aaron Maybin (former NFL defensive end), Charlie Villanueva (NBA), Lance Kendricks (Greenbay Packers), Swizz Beats, Christina Milian and more.

 

Professional athletes can’t get enough art from the mysterious “Not Your Muse.” Her artwork is collected by celebrities such as ASAP Rocky, Keith Shocklee of Public Enemy’s “Bomb Squad” and super models like Andrea Denver, who was recently featured in a BMW campaign, Men’s Health and GQ magazine.
