Oregon State Wins a Thriller

The Pac 12 Mens Basketball Tournament opened up with a barn burner of a game between the 9th Seed Oregon State Beavers vs the 8th Seed Utah Utes.  Utah sprinted out to an 8 pt Halftime lead 39-31 led by Alfonso Plummers 7 three pointers and 23 points.  In the 2nd Half the Beavers Clawed themselves back with a balanced attack having 4 score in double figures.  Senior Tres Tinkle led them with 19 points , Senior Kylor Kelley had 12 points,  Jarod Lucas had 12 points and Ethan Thompson had 11 points.  Utah was led by Alfonso Plummers Pac 12 Tournament Record 11 Three Pointers as he shot 11-16 from three, scoring 35 points.  Timmy Allen was the only other Ute to score in double figures with 13 points.

The 2nd Half had soo many twists and turns and lead changes.  Big shot after big shot.  Ending dramatically when Freshman Jarod Lucas buried a 3 Pointer from the corner with 1.8 Seconds Remaining.  Next up for Oregon State is their in state Rival the top seeded Oregon Ducks.  The 2 Teams split their season series, with each team winning on their home courts.
